The day I reached back to my flat from the airport, was the day lockdown implemented for a day. Afterwards, the Prime Minister announced a lockdown for the next 21 days to be executed from 25th March, 2020 onwards and later it was extended till 31st May,2020.   Since 2017, I started living independently, hence living alone for me was not a difficult task. I had to quarantine for the next 14 days as per the protocol and I followed the same. On the first day, Ravi (my best friend) bought some groceries early in the morning and kept it outside of my flat. Initially, whenever he went for the grocery shopping, he bought some for me as well and always kept it at the same place. Later on a grocery store downstairs started the home delivery service. In my previous blog I shared my experience of travelling internationally during pandemic. In this blog I will share about my experience of how I celebrated my birthday alone in the lockdown. For me birthdays are one of the most special days of my life. I believe that it's “The Day” when we came into this world and our existence can not be celebrated without this day. The Virus was first found in the city of Wuhan, which is situated in the country China. Since that day it has spread widely all around the world and many people have lost their loved ones as well.
